Facial muscles are essential for communication. But did you know the rest of our body influences how the face looks? Injuries, muscle tensions and uneven posture change and affect how our faces look. Face Yoga uses exercises, conscious breathing and correction of body posture. Over ninety poses allow us to work very specifically with sixty different neck and facial muscles to achieve great results. This is a modality for everyone – any gender or age. Many people who cannot go to the gym or exercise in a standing position can participate in Face Yoga. We practice Face Yoga in a sitting position, allowing more people to join who would otherwise be left out.

Vanamala Mayr-Reisch

Vanamala is a certified Face Yoga Method teacher trained under Fumiko Takatsu, the founder of the Face Yoga Method. Before working in this modality she worked for many years as a physiotherapist at Neurology clinics and rehabilitation centres in Germany. In addition, she is trained in several alternative healing methods, Breath Therapy, Colourpuncture and Eye Vision Improvement.

This background has given her a broad foundation to work with people on a deep level. All these modalities enhance Face Yoga and allow her to deliver the best, integrated solution to rejuvenate inside out and lift your or your patient's face naturally.
