We are using nutritionals on a daily basis so having deep insight into our patient’s status can be highly valuable. This masterclass dives deep into the investigations and interpretations of nutritional diagnostics. We cover all of the vitamins, essential fatty acids, amino acids and several other useful nutrients.
An important aspect of diagnostics that is not immediately obvious from test results is that many nutrients function in relation to other specific nutrients. In these cases, we need to consider the relative levels of each of these. The common nutritional pairs are the minerals zinc and copper, sodium and potassium, and magnesium and calcium. There are many more nutritional relationships to consider and these will be covered in detail.
Richard Lord PhD. gives us three presentations on nutritional diagnostics that will give you a deep understanding of the roles and mechanisms of vitamins and selected nutrients. Understanding the functional role of these nutrients not only assists your diagnostics but will greatly enhance your understanding of what to use when and how they are working to resolve specific conditions.
Vanita Dahia is presenting most of the classes in the course. Vanita has presented excellent webinars for Health Masters LIVE several times on diagnostics and is giving us the latest on amino acids, essential fatty acids as well as the foundation concepts of nutritional diagnostics and the potential pitfalls.
Maria Shaflender covers hair mineral analysis and in particular, how the minerals correlate with others. Don’t just go by the ‘in-range, out-of-range’ indications. There are important ratios to consider and these are the essence of effective diagnostics interpretations.
This is a foundation topic that all clinicians need to have under their belts.
