About this course

With autism now estimated to affect 1 in 34 people - a figure that has surged in recent years - many individuals, especially teens and adults, remain undiagnosed. For clinicians, this presents a crucial need to develop skills in recognising and supporting people on the autism spectrum, particularly those who may be masking their symptoms.

This comprehensive webinar will guide you through the nuances of autism in high-masking and undiagnosed patients. In the first part, you’ll build confidence in recognising autism through effective screening and diagnostic procedures designed to support your practice. You’ll gain insights into identifying autism’s subtle signs, enabling you to work more effectively with patients who may otherwise go unrecognised.

In the second part, we’ll provide practical resources for supporting autistic patients, who commonly face higher risks of comorbid conditions. With 30–50% also experiencing ADHD, 30% dealing with anxiety and depression, and others prone to epilepsy, sleep disorders, obesity, and gastrointestinal issues, these patients are often treated for their comorbidities while underlying autism remains undetected.

By learning targeted lifestyle, herbal, and pharmaceutical strategies, you can offer personalised care that addresses autism and its unique challenges. Join us for this essential training and make a profound difference in the lives of those who need it most.
