About this course

The majority of people are struggling with busy, challenging circumstances that are impacting their lives and their health. Many of your patients are stressed, feel fatigued or are in various stages of overwhelm. Unfortunately, when they are stressed and fatigued they have a substantially reduced ability to recover and get well.

Aoife Earls has created this two-part webinar series to give you a wide range of self-care practices and she presents these in a model that helps you implement them for your patients. She has created a mind map that you can use, allowing them to craft their own self care strategy.

While there is a tremendous amount that we can do to help patients physiologically, what they need to do as part of their own self resilience and capacity to cope, are specific practices of self-care. Self-care is a system of recovery that enables them to get control of their health and stay well.

Your patients have come to you for support and this presentation gives you the outline to explain the why, how and when of self care. Self-care practices can have substantial effects on your patients. For some of them, it will be their most valuable component of your care.
