Dr Catherine Darley

Dr Catherine Darley ND is a graduate of Bastyr University. She combines her knowledge of sleep disorders with her training as a naturopathic physician to bridge these two fields. As a naturopath, her expertise lies in providing natural and effective treatments for sleep problems. She treats people of all ages and especially enjoys working with children and their families.

She founded The Institute of Naturopathic Sleep Medicine in Seattle which is dedicated to patient care, public education about sleep health, and research on natural treatments for sleep disorders. Dr Darley regularly writes articles and speaks for professional audiences.

She has served as adjunct faculty at Bastyr University and the National University of Natural Medicine. She previously served on the Board of the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians. In her personal time, Catherine advocates for later secondary school start times and enjoys time outside in nature.

In addition to being a bestselling author, she is a sought-after speaker and is regularly interviewed by media.

Sarah Hornsby

Sarah Hornsby’s (RDH) journey to becoming a myofunctional therapist started when she graduated from Eastern Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene.

As she started myofunctional therapy training and began helping her patients and learning more about her own orofacial myofunctional symptoms, she became increasingly interested in holistic health and wellness. She wanted to understand the root cause of not only oral myofunctional problems, but poor health in general.

In 2010, Sarah opened her practice, Faceology in Seattle. In 2014, she transformed Faceology into the world’s first fully-online telehealth myofunctional therapy practice. She has been working with patients from across the country and around the world since then.

In 2015, Sarah opened MyoMentor, a new branch of her business to support hygienists and dentists who want to become successful myofunctional therapists. She’s trained over 150 dental professionals in how to incorporate myofunctional therapy into dentistry.

Although Sarah has become a speaker, teacher, and leader in the field, it’s her journey through recognising and treating her own oral myofunctional symptoms that makes her so passionate about the field and spreading the message about this critical component of the dental health and overall wellness equation.
