About this course

The Perimenopausal period is a remarkably complex time in a woman’s life. More complex than many clinicians realise. There are a cascade of hormones involved and for those women who have difficulty, it can be tricky to help them. This course will give you a complete picture of what's happening to your patient’s bodies at this time. Your presenters are world-recognised experts in women’s health and have a particular interest in peri/menopause.

Many women breeze through perimenopause; others have a very tough time. The list of symptoms your patients can experience at this time is a long and varied list. This is because so many hormones and systems are involved or affected. Cortisol, insulin, pregnanolone change as well as those hormones we readily associate with the transition. Women also experience changes in neurotransmitters, immune factors, circulation, mitochondrial function, energy metabolism, and many more.

Every woman seems to have her own transition process. Knowing the deep underlying processes of the transition greatly helps you understand every women’s situation and where their metabolic priorities lie. This course is packed full of clinically-valuable tips and tools that you can use to help make the transition much easier and more natural for your patients.

We hope this course helps you provide your patients with a healthy, natural and joyful experience at this time of their lives.
