About this course

The toxins your patients' gastrointestinal tracts are exposed to can significantly impact their microbiome and overall health. While it’s well-known that the gut environment plays a crucial role in health, recent research suggests it may be the most important factor in shaping our microbiome.

In this insightful webinar, Dr. Haroldo Magarinos delves into the common toxins that disrupt your patients’ gut health. He starts with a captivating exploration of heavy metals and their effects on the microbiome, highlighting how a healthy gut can actually help protect against these toxins. He then goes on to cover other key disruptors, including bisphenols, PFAS chemicals, pesticides (like glyphosate), mycotoxins, and endotoxins.

Dr. Magarinos also offers practical, evidence-based strategies for prevention and treatment. He shares probiotic recommendations to counteract the toxic effects, ways to minimise exposure to these widespread toxins, and lifestyle, dietary, and nutraceutical suggestions to bolster toxin resistance.

Understanding the impact of these toxins on your patients' microbiome is critical to providing comprehensive, effective care.
